Demote

On this screen, the removal of the domain controller from the enterprise directory services is performed. There should be no role on the domain controller that is being removed. A role on a domain controller must be taken by the new role holder domain controller.

Warning

There should be no FSMO roles on the SambaBox to be removed from the domain. If a SambaBox is to be removed from an unreachable domain, the [Remove Offline] button must be pressed.
