Alert Settings
SambaBox can send an alert e-mail to an e-mail address you specify when the disk, memory and processor exceeds certain criteria or when communication with other SambaBoxes is lost.
E-mail Settings
In this section, the address to which SambaBox will send the alert e-mail, its password, the address and port of the SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) server, the e-mail/group to which the alarm goes and the language are selected.
SMTP Username
The information from which address the alert e-mails of the SambaBox will be sent goes here.
SMTP User Password
The password of the e-mail address that send the alert e-mails from SambaBox goes here.
SMTP Server Address
SMTP address of the e-mail server that will send the alert e-mails goes here.
SMTP Connection Port
SMTP port of the e-mail server that will send the alert e-mails goes here.
Alarm Mail Group
Enter the e-mail address or group which the alert e-mails of the SambaBox will be sent.
Language Selection
SambaBox can sed alert e-mails in English and Turkish. You can choose the language from here.
Send Test E-mail
Before applying the alert e-mail sending settings of the SambaBox, you can send a test e-mail to verify the settings are correct.
Settings
In this section, SambaBox’s alert e-mail settings are selected as period, disk alert threshold, CPU alert threshold, RAM alert threshold, health check between SambaBoxes.
Warning
To enable the settings section, you must edit the e-mail settings.
Alert System Status
Enable or disable Sambabox e-mail alert service.
Period
Select the frequency at which SambaBox alert e-mails will be sent.
Disk Alert Threshold
Enter the percentage of the remaining free space of the SambaBox disk to generate an alert.
CPU Alert Threshold
Enter the information that will generate an alert when the CPU usage of the server where SambaBox is running exceeds in percentage.
RAM Alert Threshold
Enter the information that will generate an alert when the RAM usage of the server where SambaBox is running exceeds in percentage.
Health Check Between SambaBoxes
If there is more than one SambaBox, select whether to generate an alert when communication between SambaBoxes is lost.
