View Logs¶
You can access and instantly download logs related to Samba, samba_audit, samba_password and DHCP from the View Logs screen.
Hint
tail is a command line program used to display the last few lines of plain text files on Unix / Linux systems. Another important capability of tail is it can watch text file changes continuously. This allows you to watch live logs on SambaBox web interface.
You can list the lines where a certain expression occurs by filtering with the grep tool. In this way, you can easily find lines related to your need such as “error” or “failure” etc.
