Tools
With the Tools menu, you can maintain DB, Sysvol, msdcs records, accounts that have not been used for a certain period of time, and replication.
DB Check (Database Check) Database check is used to verify the integrity and health of the database within the SambaBox system. This process helps identify any inconsistencies, errors, or data corruption, ensuring the system runs smoothly.
Sysvol Check Sysvol Check verifies the accuracy and integrity of SYSVOL shares on domain controllers. SYSVOL stores domain configuration data such as Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and scripts. This check ensures that SYSVOL shares are correctly configured and functioning as expected.
Msdcs Records Msdcs Records contain service records for SambaBox domain controllers. These records ensure that domain controllers operate correctly and communicate properly with other controllers. The Msdcs Records check verifies that these service records are accurate and up-to-date.
Accounts Not Used for a Certain Period This tool is used to identify user and computer accounts that have not been used for a specified period. This is a crucial task for security purposes, allowing the identification and cleanup of unused or old accounts.
